Sweet ending to a crazy day!

Katahdin is just to the right of the photograph… the storm had shaded katahdin out but right next to it was this scene.  How can one believe there is no great designer? no God?

I shall be telling this with a sigh

My wife’s garden and a sunny day.

This is my first post on tumblr so I thought it would only be fitting if I explained a few things. 

First of all, I have no clue as to what I am doing with this thing so I may screw it all up… and quickly

I just bought a Nikon D90, and thought I would post my progress with it.  This is my first Digital SLR… I used my dad’s old 35mm SLR for a few years while in college and have done little of anything but point and shoot for the last 4 years. 

I am no pro but love photography… so I hope you enjoy my journey into digital photography!
